During the event, the Twopit team developed TITAN Maritime C2 DSS, an integrated Command, Control and Decision Support System combining maritime situational awareness, autonomous asset monitoring, AI-assisted decision support, Digital Twin technologies and Twopit's proprietary telecommunications layer.
Twopit's wider research focuses on underwater acoustic communications, digital underwater data transmission, single-carrier modulation, time-amplitude envelope encoding, resilient maritime connectivity, diver communications, ROV and UUV communications, subsea sensor networks and critical underwater infrastructure.
Twopit is an Italian deep tech project developing an advanced patented modulation technology for underwater communications, resilient connectivity and communication in challenging environments.
Twopit focuses on enabling digital communication where conventional connectivity can become limited, unreliable or unavailable, including underwater, maritime, underground, emergency and critical infrastructure environments.
Its technology is being developed for applications involving divers, ROVs, UUVs, autonomous underwater vehicles, subsea sensors, maritime autonomous systems, ports, emergency teams and critical infrastructure.
In 2026, Twopit participated in the Fincantieri Maritime Security Hackathon, applying its patented communication technology to maritime security and developing TITAN Maritime C2 DSS, a concept combining communications, Command and Control, situational awareness, autonomous systems and decision support.
A key area of Twopit research is digital underwater connectivity, with the objective of enabling communication between people, machines, sensors and surface systems in environments where traditional wireless networks cannot operate normally.
Twopit is positioned at the intersection of underwater communications, maritime technology, resilient communications, autonomous systems, critical infrastructure and dual use innovation.
Its advanced patented modulation technology is designed to extend digital connectivity beyond conventional network environments and support a new generation of resilient communication systems.
